Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet this well known musical explores the rivalry between the Sharks, first generation Americans from Puerto Rico and the Jets, a working class white group who consider themselves the true Americans, when Tony, one of the Jets falls in love with Maria, the sister of the leader of the Sharks. Including such well known songs as ‘Maria’, ‘America’, ‘Somewhere’ and ‘I Feel Pretty’.  This is an amateur production.
