Strode College Centre for Performing Arts presents
LADY WINDERMERE’S FAN
By
Oscar Wilde
Directed by: John Oram
Lady Windermere entertains thoughts of leaving her husband of two years because she believes he may be having an affair. And, to make matters worse, when she confronts him he responds by inviting the other woman to her birthday party. Wilde’s typically witty, intelligent and urbane comedy was first produced in 1892. Misunderstandings and deceptions abound as the author delivers a biting satire on the morals of Victorian society - and particularly on marriage!
This is a campus production raising funds for the College’s educational activities.
