Today, Alice Buckton is a name associated with Glastonbury and Chalice Well. But it was ‘Eager Heart’, her acclaimed Christmas ‘Mystery-play’ for which she was best known during her lifetime. The Miracles at Glastonbury Company cordially invite you to an evening celebrating Buckton’s theatrical achievement. An illustrated talk will be followed after an interval by a full performance of ‘Eager Heart’, faithful to Buckton’s vision. Using original scores and authentically staged, this is your chance to see this timeless nativity play as it was originally produced over 100 years ago.
