One of two full length plays from the maestro of English drama, in new productions by two of Somerset’s leading amateur theatre groups. Set in a riverside flat, each features a damsel in trouble, but each play has a very different theme… but are very much Ayckbourn comedy at its best. ROLEPLAY: A family engagement party leads to an unexpected outcome when a neighbour from upstairs ‘drops’ in. Matters are not helped by the fact that one family are very prim and proper and the one available member of the second family has visited a few pubs on the way.
