JULIA MANNING - NATURE IN FULL COLOUR
Tuesday 14th February - Saturday 7th April
All exhibitions are free and are open from 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 10am - 2pm Saturday plus performance evenings
The rich assortment of flora and fauna in the local region shapes the inspiration for much of Julia Manning’s work. Often found with binoculars or telescope in hand, Julia seeks to observe scenarios and interactions between birds and animals - whether it be an exchange of glances or the movement of a bird in flight; she instinctively interprets a fleeting moment in sketch and then later re-interprets in print. Her depth of knowledge and appreciation for her subject matter is palpable and adds to the vibrancy and animation of her prints.
